Beautiful 3-acre island on Sabaskong Bay, Lake of the Woods. This island is in a great location at the heart of great fishing territory, just south of Miles Bay and Obabikon Bay. A chance to own your own deeded 3-acre island. The island is located 8 kilometres (5 miles), about a 10-15 minute boat ride, from several marinas in Morson. While this location offers great privacy, with only one cabin visible from the island, it's nice to have Black Island Resort just to the east. The cove on the southeast end of the island creates a protected harbour for docking. The small sand beach is a great place to pull up your boat until a new dock is built. The shoreline is rocky with good water depths all around the island. There are many mature white and red pines on the island. There is a 776 sq. ft. seasonal-use cabin with two bedrooms. The original cabin was built in 1965 with an addition in the early 1990s. There is a kitchen open to the dining room and living room. The living room features a stone fireplace. The floors are pine and the walls are finished with paneling. There is a 6 x 20 ft. screened-in porch off the north side of the cabin. Just behind the cabin is a 10 x 12 ft. storage shed.
