Cabin on a beautiful sand beach close to Morson on Lake of the Woods. This property is located approx. 5 kilometers (3 miles) by boat southeast of the town of Morson. The property is on the mainland but is accessible by boat only. Excellent privacy here, as this property is surrounded by Crown land. This is deeded land, 1.13 acres in size with 189 feet of lake frontage. The 66-foot shoreline reserve is not owned. The shoreline includes part of a large sand beach. Exposure is to the northeast. There is a nice level area just back of the beach. There is a mix of trees including oak, ash, and jack pine. Blueberries are plentiful on the hill behind the cabin. There is a 520 sq. ft. cabin which was built in 1971. The original cabin was 320 sq. ft. and there was a 200 sq. ft. addition. The cabin is built on a post-on-pad foundation and has half-round log siding and asphalt shingles. The walls are 2x4 construction, there is no insulation and the windows are original single pane. Just up from the beach, there is a 10 x 16 ft. storage shed. There is a roll-in dock. Services: The cabin has some rough wiring for electricity and lights, with the power being supplied by a portable gas generator. The cooking stove runs on propane. There is no refrigerator. Propane is brought out in portable tanks. There is no water system, no indoor plumbing. There is no heat source. There is an outhouse in need of repair.
